Creating new Ansys app versions

Caution

You can only have a maximum of 6 app versions. When the limit is reached, you have to delete one of the app versions before adding a new one. The Current version is selected based on the date of creation. This ensures that the latest published version is set as the "Current version". Only the Current version of app is visible to users, while Previous versions only appear as downloadable or buyable licenses in the Versions section.

1. Click My account.

2. Select the Publisher Apps tab. Here, find the app with the version you want to edit, then click the Manage app versions icon.

3. Click Add new version.

Good to know

When you create a new version of your app, almost all fields will be pre-filled based on the current version. You can change every field except the App name field. You can fill the App version field with the new version number of the app.

4. Edit the fields as needed. You can find details about the edit forms and their different fields in the Creating Ansys apps document.

5. At the bottom of the page, click Save.
