Ansys ID SSO is a single sign-on solution from Ansys that enables you to leverage a single set of credentials to sign in and access multiple Ansys products, services, and websites. Instead of signing in individually to each client application (also known as a service provider), you instead sign in to an identity provider (IdP), in this case Ansys ID, which each application trusts and leverages to confirm user identity and authentication.
A Personal Access Token (PAT) is a secure, long-lived authentication credential that lets users or applications access Ansys services and APIs without repeated interactive sign-ins. Instead of entering a username and password each time, the PAT serves as a reusable, programmatic credential.
