Ansys Common Fluids API Requirements
Last update: 16.07.2025Prerequisites for Using the Ansys Common Fluids API
To use the Ansys Common Fluids API, you must use the versions of compilers appropriate to the version of the Ansys software you are using.
Details of the compilers that were used to prepare this SDK depend on the Ansys release version of the software with which this SDK is provided, and are detailed in the Build and Usage Guide for the version being used. Ansys compiler support is documented in the Installation Guides (Linux or Windows) at the Ansys online Help site for the relevant release.
Note that the following third-party libraries are used by the Ansys Common Fluids Format SDK:
- Boost 1.63.0
- Xerces 3.2.2
- HDF5 1.12.2
- QT 5.10.1
- Zlib 1.2.13
If you are using any of these libraries within your own code, you should ensure you are using the same versions listed above to avoid any compatibility issues. Ansys does not support use of the SDK with any other versions of the above libraries.
