Key Benefits

The Initial Deformation app allows you to update the shared model mesh to include a scaled deformation pattern from one or a combination of connected systems prior to solve. The scaling factors of the individual results are automatically calculated based on the given weighting factor and maximum initial deformation value.

Use Cases

Large deformation (buckling) analysis with imperfections.
