The Export Figures app exports all defined figures in the model tree as PNG files to a custom folder or to the project’s “user_files” directory.

Key Benefits

The Export Figures app exports all defined figures in the model tree as PNG files to a selected folder. It can also export images during a design point study. If using linked images in a report, you can easily update the figures by exporting again because the app uses the same figure names and properties. To set the image export properties, you use Ansys Mechanical’s Image Export and Report options.

Use Cases

With a “one-button click,” export all figures in the current model with consistent settings and naming. Automatically export all images during a design point study without the need to use Retain in the Design Points table.
