The CSV plot allows you to create a contour plot of any nodal element or grid data in Ansys Mechanical, including all valid Workbench unit strings for automatic unit conversion. Use this tool to read in an external model and plot data or add a custom result to the current model based on external postprocessing.

Use Cases

Inputs and outputs are often created outside of Ansys in CSV files. With this tool, you can read in and plot this data. For example, you can plot surface convection coefficient data from a CFD analysis or postprocess stress data to create a nodal safety factor list.
