What's new

Full automation of the installation of WSL2, an Alpine Linux Distribution, Docker and Docker compose.
Allows the user to import the data from previous version of Ansys App Portal One Node Deployment Template (0.3.1 or later) into the new Alpine Linux Distribution.
Users have a choice to import or skip the data from any already installed distribution.

App Description

The WSL Platform Distribution package contains powershell scripts that automates the installation process of setting-up WSL, installing an Alpine Linux Distribution with docker and docker compose. The supported Operating Systems are : Windows 11 and Windows Server 2022.
The script automates and orchestrates the installation of WSl2 by by enabling WSL 2 feature and Virtual Machine Platform feature in the Windows operating system. The script also orchestrates the end to end download and setup for Alpine Linux Distribution with version 3.21.0, Docker with version 27.3.1 and Docker Compose with version 2.31.0.
