Gerotor toolkit is a Fluent based automated solution for design and analysis of gerotor pumps. Through automation, it reduces a few hours manual preprocessing and setup work to a few minutes machine operations.

Key Benefits

The tool is python based where a python mother script executes the children (SCDM, Fluent solver/meshing) scripts in sequence. The toolkit receives volumes of rotor and ports as well as a text input file and creates ready to run Fluent case and data which can be consumed on Windows and Linux. Calculating the velocity and pressure fields, estimating the fill speed, determining the pressure spike magnitudes, and identifying the cavitation spots are the main outputs of the case and data generated by the toolkit. This information is necessary for design and optimization of gerotor pumps.
