Tool configuration before the first run

To run the curve manipulation tool, the user needs to have an active Ansys license. The program doesn't consume any license, it just checks for the existence of an active license. Therefore, the user needs to edit the provided file license_info file and enter following details:

1. Ansys FLEXlm port - by default, it is 1055
2. The hostname of the server, where the Ansys license manager with active Ansys license(s) is installed. The working machine of the user, where the curve manipulation tool is located, should be able to access this license server. If the Ansys license server and the user's working machine are the same machine, the server hostname can be defined as localhost.
3. A path to Ansys installation folder on the working machine of the user containing the file lmutil.exe, for example:
"C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\vXXX\licensingclient\winx64" (replace XXX with an installed Ansys version number)
or
"C:\Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64" (if a license manager is installed on the user's working machine)
The path must be defined with quotation marks.

Remarks:
- The curve manipulation tool executable and the file license_info must be located in the same folder on the user's working machine.
- Each of the entries 1-3 in the license_info file must be on a separate line. The order of the entries is important and should be as described above.
- Lines beginning with the "#" symbol are treated as comment lines in the license_info file. Empty lines are ignored.
- Once the license_info file is correctly configured, the curve manipulation tool can be started.

Key Benefits

Direct edition approach: curve edition directly in the graphical window instead of modification of spreadsheet points. Various functionalities available such as filtering, FFT, equation editor, differentiation, integration, approximation and interpolation techniques, definition and edition of spline curves, curve extraction from image files etc. Additional functionalities for smoothing and extrapolation of BH magnetization curves.
